How to Get a Six Pack in a Week - a Simple Plan for Maximum Results
Normally I take a more long term strategy to fat loss but I know there are times when you just need to shift weight fast to look as good as possible for some event or trip you have organised at the last minute. So with this is mind here is my basic strategy on how to get a six pack in a week.
Don’t expect too much
You must be careful not to have unrealistic goals when trying to lose fat in such a short space of time From trying this before I have seen weight loss of between 5-10 pounds over the course of a week. Therefore if you only have a little body fat to lose then you have a good chance of defining your ab muscles.
Also I think you need to think about your mindset. This is going to be a tough week that is going to require severe dedication to get the maximum results. So be honest with yourself that you will be able to see this through before you start .
The main factor to getting visible abs in one week
If we want the maximum results then a considerable calorie deficit must be created during the course of the week.
To realize this a very stringent diet and exercise plan must be followed. . A quick thing to mention before we continue is don’t be concerned that you will slow down your metabolism as a result of this approach. This can happen but only when these low calorie diets are followed for much longer periods of time.
Your Six Pack Abs in a week strategy
Every day you must do an hours cardio training with 20-30 minutes of this at a high intensity.
Do your workouts in fasted state – i.e. no food 4-6 hours before each session .
For the duration of the week we shouldn’t consume more than 800-1000 calories a day. If you miss exercise one day then reduce it to 600-800 .
Sugars and Fats of all varieties should be removed from your diet
Get through 100-150g of protein on a daily basis .
If you don’t drink much water then now is the time to make sure you do. Aim for a minimum of 4 litres daily.
I find that green tea can help to cope with hunger and energy issues so drink as much as needed .
While on such a restrictive diet I recommend taking a good multivitamin per day.
So there you have basic strategy on how to get a six pack in a week. It will be a long 7 days believe me but if you stay strong and see it through I am confident you will be happy with the results.
