<p>When you work with a Washington, DC fitness coach, you may be surprised when they tell you not to do crunches. No matter who you see doing crunches, chances are good they will not help you to get that flab, tone stomach you are after. In fact, have you seen the midsection of those who do crunches? Chances are good they are not seeing the results they want to either.</p>
<p>Why shouldn&#8217;t you be doing crunches? You may have heard that crunches and other abdominal workouts will help you to get that flat stomach and tight midsection you are after. But, there are several reasons why this will not work for you.</p>
<p><span id="more-586"></span></p>
<p>1. You need to leave behind your misconception that abdominal crunches are going to be of any use to you. If you are looking for flat abs and you want to display a 4, 6 or 8 pack, you have to get rid of the thick layer of fat on your stomach that hides the natural abs that you were born with by following a good weight loss program.</p>
<p>2. Crunches actually harm your posture. In a crunch, your head and shoulders come down, towards your pelvis. This is the same action that happens when you are hunched over your desk at work and it is poor posture.</p>
<p>3. There is a lot of wrong information floating around so, if you are looking for both protection to your back and perfect results for your abs, then talk to your Washington, DC fitness coach, because crunches do not do your back any good, especially when they are not done right.</p>
<p>So, What Do You Do?</p>
<p>As noted before, all you need to do is get a good weight loss plan in order to burn off the excess fat hiding your natural abs and a good Washington, DC fitness coach might just be the one to help you set up a good plan and you won&#8217;t need to do any crunches.</p>
<p>Another important factor to take into account is your internal weight belt, which turns on automatically when your core muscles are functioning correctly. The muscles that support your lower back when you are moving or lifting heavy objects by tightening inwards form your internal weight belt. Weak muscles lead to a flabby stomach.</p>
<p>The bottom line: crunches are not going to provide you with those six pack abs that you are interested in. Instead, it is highly recommended that you work with a Washington, DC fitness coach who can help you to create a plan to improve those core muscles and lose the weight that is shielding your abdominal muscles.</p>

<p>Tired of the usual and boring abs exercises that dont even produce results? This article is intended to help you find out how to get flat abs through using a workout that provides high intensity stabilization techniques. Changing up an abs exercise routine can help you produce a higher intensity work out which is going to speed up your results.</p>
<p>Here is a full body workout that you can do to get ripped abs in a more efficient and faster time! This high intensity consists of three exercises and is set up in a tri-set format which is similar to like a super-set.</p>
<p><span id="more-309"></span></p>
<p>Here goes:</p>
<p>1a. Renegade Dumbbell Rows</p>
<p>1b. Front Squats with Barbell</p>
<p>1c. Mountain Climbers on Floor</p>
<p>For each exercise, 3-4 sets of 8 reps would be a great rep scheme to follow.  You can also do more sets and less reps, 5 sets of 5 reps or something like that. Mountain climbers can be done for a time interval (such as 30 seconds) instead of &#8220;reps&#8221;.</p>
<p>To do renegade dumbbell rows, start in a pushup position with your hands on two dumbbells. Then, row one dumbbell up while keeping your body stabilized with the other arm.~ Bring the dumbbell back to the ground and alternate the rowing arm while stabilizing with the opposite arm. So how does this work out my abs you may be asking?  The stabilizing effect during the rows it what creates work for your abdominal. Dont think your abs are getting a workout, wait til you feel it in the morning!</p>
<p>Front squats are done similar to back squats, however with the barbell in front of your body on the front of your shoulders instead of resting on the upper back as in back squats. Set the barbell on your shoulders with your arms crossed and push your firsts into the bar against your shoulders, keeping your elbows out in front.</p>
<p>This takes a little practice at first, so you will want to seek a professional trainer at your gym to help you with the form. Front squats require extreme stabilization strength from the abs due to the barbell weight being shifted to the front of the body instead of the back. Even though this is mostly a leg exercise, you&#8217;ll feel this one in the abs big time!</p>
<p>Mountain climbers are done by starting in a pushup position and then shuffling your feet in and out so that your knees are moving in under your chest and then back out to starting position. It simulates climbing a mountain, hence the name for this workout, mountain climbers. Mountain climbers is one of the best way to lose belly fat as it burns off body fat.</p>
<p>These are tri-sets so after doing an exercise, rest only for about 30 seconds, and then go on to the next one immediately.  Take a small 1-2 minute break in between tri-sets, then repeat it.</p>
<p>In spite of the fact that there are no direct abs exercises involved, this is one of the best abs exercises you can do. Do the workout and youll become believer too!</p>
