  9. Abby Pollock Hi Abby, First off thanks for your videos your content and scientific explanations are amazing ? Second I was wondering if you could help me out! Ive been lifting for close to a year now and my current goal is to gain muscle and really grow and my lower body (my upper body gets really fast results) I am naturally very lean, like I can see muscle fibers when Im doing shoulder or back day, but I carry fat in my midsection ? Now I know you can’t spot reduce fat but are there any tips you would reccomend to someone trying to get that lean shredded look for their core when they dont really have fat anywhere else? Ive been told to do HIIT but times I did try this out I began to look drained and looked slimmer in places where I dont really have fat to spare ?

  10. Totally. I restructured my eating to make sure I get about 20 grams a meal, including breakfast. So no more cereal or fruit smoothies or baked goods in the AM, just tofu scrambles, tempeh, protein shake, oats, etc. And if you eat eggs, you could just do an egg white omelette or hard-boiled eggs. I had to go to 4 meals a day plus a protein shake, but now its easier to eat all the protein. Just my two cents!

  14. I was struggling with protein intake too! I just started this regimen, and now I’m hitting it consistently, and each meal only took a few minutes to prepare:

    1 cup low fat milk (11g protein) – breakfast
    3 scrambled eggs with spinach (21g protein) – lunch
    1 90/10 Turkey breast patty (25g protein), baked squash, spinach and kale salad – dinner
    1 cup Quinoa with kidney beans and avocado (15g protein) – pre-fast meal

    72 grams. GOOD LUCK!

  15. Make cod the staple of your diet. You will get lean. I do a pound per day…and switch over to chicken breast when the fish gets a little boring.

  20. yes, I’d love this too. I’ve seen people get fabulous results at home and never go to a gym. I can’t stay motivated going to a gym. at home, I’m working out regularly.

    I love your videos! Is that okay if I want to build muscle and swim once a week? Is the swimming going to be in the way of gaining muscles mass?

  29. +ampollo how do I train weight lifting if I have some shoulder neck problems?
    I’ve been avoiding workouts that put pressure on these areas by mostly doing cardio, yoga, hiit and body-pump focused on lower body, is that ok?
